Terms of use

The terms that apply to this website and to lesson requests sent through it.

Last updated 20 August 2026

About these terms

This website is operated by Stallion Driving School, Bramcote Lane, Wollaton, Nottingham, NG8 2NJ. By using the site or sending a booking request through it, you agree to the terms below. If you have a question about them, call 07412 387888 or email info@stalliondrivingschool.co.uk.

Booking requests are not confirmed bookings

Sending the form on this website submits a request for a lesson. It does not reserve a slot and it does not create a contract on its own. A lesson is only booked once we have replied to confirm that the date and time are available, and payment has been received.

Payment

Lessons are paid for by bank transfer. No payment is taken through this website, and we will never ask for card details on these pages. Once we have confirmed a time, payment details are sent to you directly.

The price for your lesson or block is confirmed with you before you pay. Any prices shown on this site are for guidance and may change; the price we confirm to you is the one that applies.

Changing or cancelling a lesson

If you need to move or cancel a lesson, tell us as early as you can by phone or WhatsApp and we will do our best to rearrange it. The notice we need, and what happens to payment for a late cancellation, is confirmed with you when you book.

If we have to cancel a lesson — for illness, weather or a problem with the car — we will offer you the earliest alternative slot, or return the payment for that lesson.

What you need in order to take a lesson

  • A valid UK provisional (or full) driving licence, which you must bring to your lesson
  • Eyesight that meets the DVSA standard — you must be able to read a number plate from 20 metres, with glasses or contact lenses if you need them
  • To be fit to drive: not under the influence of alcohol or drugs, and not affected by a medical condition or medication that makes driving unsafe

A lesson may be ended, without refund, if any of the above turns out not to be the case, or if behaviour during a lesson puts anybody at risk.

Our lessons

Lessons are taught in a dual-controlled vehicle insured for tuition. We will teach to the DVSA syllabus and to the standard required for the practical driving test, but no driving school can guarantee a test pass, and nothing on this site should be read as such a guarantee.

This website

We keep the information on this site as accurate and current as we can, but it is provided for general information. The design, text and graphics on this site belong to Stallion Driving School and may not be copied or reused without permission.

Where this site links to other websites, we are not responsible for their content or their terms.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Beyond that, our liability in relation to lessons is limited to the amount you have paid for the lessons concerned.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute.
